Attic Room Furniture

Interior design can be particularly complicated when you’re working with an awkward space with limited access, features that are familiar to most people who have attic rooms. If you’re one of those people, you’re also likely to be well acquainted with the struggles associated with trying to furnish a small room with a sloped ceiling at the top of a narrow stairway. You may well have found the perfect sofa, only to discover that you’ll be unable to get it up the stairs due to its dimensions. However, the search for attic furniture that works is worth it once you have that extra space in which to relax. If you play your cards right, you may even be able to use your attic as a guest room.

At Nabru, we have a number of sofas that we’re pretty sure you’ll love. They’re perfectly suited to furnishing attics for a number of reasons. Firstly, the dimensions of the sofa itself don’t play a role in whether or not you can carry it up your narrow stairway – our sofas come in flat pack form for ease of transportation. Secondly, most of our sofas are available with beds fitted in, increasing the likelihood that you’ll find your ideal attic sofa bed, and ensuring that you have somewhere for guests to stay when they need to. Thirdly, if you’re struggling to find a comfy sofa that fits into the attic space you have to work with, we have a solution! With Nabru, you can design your own attic room sofa to ensure that you get exactly what you need.

Depending on the shape of your attic, it may be that an L shaped sofa is perfect for maximising the utility of the space. For other attics, optimal use of your space may require beanbags or futons to provide extra seating. Because of the sloped ceilings found in most attics, there’s often a space between the sofa and the wall where beanbags can be hidden away when not in use.

We have a few other attic room ideas to help you get the most out of your space. Painting the walls and sloped ceiling in pastel shades, white, or a combination of the two can help your attic appear to be more spacious. The same goes for storage units and coffee tables, if you have room for them.

If you’re searching for the perfect sofa to furnish your attic, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to help. We look forward to hearing from you!
