Description

Medium Extension Seat

The medium seats on our sofas measure 67cm across and are 70cm deep; purchasing a medium extension seat allows you to replace one of our medium seats with an extension seat which is 67cm across and 140cm deep.


The medium extension seat sits (at the back) on the frame where the medium seat would normally rest and at the front on a stool base and the whole extension seat rests at a slight angle, the same angle that our seats rest at which means that the extension seat sits flush when compared to the other seats on the sofa.


Our medium extension seats are completely interchangeable with any medium seat on one of our sofas which means that it's easy to change the orientation of the sofa to a left handed or a right handed sofa, you could even choose very easily to have your extension seat as the middle seat of a row of 3 seats if you wished.


Typically our customers use our extension seats to change our range of sofas into chaise sofas and inexpensively create a small corner sofa or to change a corner sofa quickly and easily into a U shaped sofa.


Our medium extension seats are available in any one of the range of 75+ different fabrics that we stock and you can also choose to customise them further by adding options such as piping detail and two tone fabric combinations.

Wood Option – Solid Birch Feet
The wood feet option comprises solid birch feet which have an attractive lacquered finish.



Steel Option

Steel Option – Brushed Stainless Steel
The steel feet option comprises a brushed stainless steel plate. The steel we use is stainless steel so the feet won't rust in the event of accidents and spills. In addition, if you are concerned about scratches on your nice wooden flooring, don't be worried as the bottom of the legs are not covered in steel, but are comprised of wood to ensure scratches are avoided. However, to be sure and safe we always recommend the use of furniture felt if you are at all concerned about damaging your floor.

Two Tone Fabric

We can make up sofas in a combination of two different fabrics or colours. All you need to do to order a sofa or corner sofa in a contrasting colour is to select the "Two Tone" Colour option (and fabric choice) when you go to check out.
