The Duo Small Double Sofa Bed is compact in size measuring just 172cm across; it’s also really easy to turn it into a bed, just pull the bar between the two back seat cushions and the bed folds out in one simple motion, and, you don’t need to take the seat or back cushions off before you pull the bed out, these are fixed to the frame and tuck away as you pull the mechanism out.
The sofa bed is delivered as a kit of parts, the arms and the front and back all have metal fixings on them, just slot these into the corresponding fixings on the sofa bed frame. The back cushions and seat cushions are easily attached to the frame with velcro. The back cushions are filled with soft foam which has been wrapped in Dacron to enhance their comfort and looks and it’s the same for the seat cushions, the seat cushions also rest on top of the sprung base for the sofa bed so there’s loads of support and comfort there. The sofa bed for our Duo range of products is really comfy, it comprises a 12cm thick sprung mattress which rests on a combination of wooden slats and elastic webbing, the whole combination is so comfortable that you could happily sleep on this sofa bed every day for a prolonged period of time.
The sofa bed can easily be deployed by pulling the mechanism from the space between the two back cushions. The mechanism pulls out in three easy movements as shown in the video above. There is no need to remove the back cushions or seats, they can stay in place as the mechanism is pulled out. The bed is suitable for everyday use and comprises of a 12cm sprung mattress which is supported by a combination of wood slats and elasticated strapping.
