All of our products come as flat pack sofas and have been designed to simply click or slot together without the need for tools or screws.
The practicality of our self assembly sofa designs always comes in handy too - space constraints are no longer a problem! Another big bonus is that all of our self assembly sofas come with removable covers, even the arm covers can be removed, so there’s no problem taking one or more covers off for cleaning, and if you choose one of our machine washable fabrics you can just pop the covers straight into the washing machine. The benefits of our removable covers don’t end there, its easy for you to change the covers at some time in the future if you want to freshen up your look. New sets of covers are easy to change and cost a fraction of the price of a new sofa.
Damaged components or fabric covers aren’t a big headache either as our modular designs ensure that individual components or damaged fabric covers can be easily replaced without you having to worry about the expense of a new sofa.
Our self assembly sofas have been designed to be as flexible as possible so that you have the opportunity to be as creative as you want to be. You can choose between different arm and end styles, wooden or steel feet, 3 sizes of seat width, different seat depths, 40 plus fabric selections, dimensions that range from 85cm right up to 5 meters and you can even add a sofabed mechanism - with so many choices and alternatives on offer we are able to cater for most requirements.
A little bit more information on those arm and end options - we have 5 different arm styles on offer ranging from retro curved arms to big chunky arms. When it comes to stylish alternatives to an arm we’ve got those covered too, you can choose a fashionable chaise end to stretch your feet out on or an armless end to make the most of your precious space.
How strong are the frames on our self assembly sofas? We’ve employed finite element analysis software (this is the same stuff that bridge builders and the military use to test their products) in the design of our products. We took the results of this analysis and applied a margin of safety of 200%. Because the real world doesn’t behave like a software programme we loaded up one of our sofas with 20 bags of sand weighing 20Kg each, that’s a combined weight of 400Kg – there was no discernable effect on the frame. We also did a “teenager test” with a 22 stone man jumping up and down on the frame – again with no effect. We were able to establish our 2 year warranty based on the results of these tests.
